After a career change, Andrea studied at Bank Street College of Education while teaching at the Allen-Stevenson School, a private boys school in NYC.  After receiving her Masters degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Bank Street, Andrea taught 3rd and 4th grades at The Town School in NYC for many years.  Andrea has also done extensive tutoring in mathematics for children in grades 2-5. Andrea is excited to be working with teachers and schools as they adopt Singapore Math because she believes the Singapore approach is highly effective in establishing a very solid mathematical foundation for many different types of learners.
